We have put together a list of alternative uses which have been
suggested to us by the general public.
 |
Sylglas Flashing Tape has been used to make a 'scalloped' decorative
edging to place under widow sills by cutting out from a length of
tape semi-circles with a mug as a template.
|
 |
Repair a leaking waste pipe behind the toilet
(toilet gland) with Sylglas
Waterproofing Tape. If left for 6 - 8 weeks Sylglas
Waterproofing Tape will form a 'skin' which can then be overpainted, with an emulsion paint.
* Tip If there is a difference
in levels at the place of the joint then cut a length of waterproofing tape, twist to create a rope and place around the
joint to fill out so that a lesser amount
of tape is needed for the total job. |
 |
To join polythene sheets (e.g.) for
poly tunnels, use
Sylglas Clear Weatherproofing Tape. This product is resistant to ultra violet light and does not crack or discolour.
|
 |
Sylglas Clear Weatherproofing Tape has also been used to protect
car headlights from stone chips and other road material. |
Please note that the above alternative uses have
been used as examples and are not guaranteed by Winn & Coales International,
but believe that these uses are viable.
